From Sunset to Sunrise: A Mermaid-Tastic Beach Shoot
Hey there, everyone!
So, I have to share this story because it’s one for the books! We had an absolutely epic shoot at Miramar Beach that turned out to be nothing short of a sunrise extravaganza.
Originally, we were all set for a sunset session—because, you know, everyone loves a good sunset, right? But then, Wanda had a genius idea: “How about we switch it to sunrise?” And just like that, we went from the “Golden Hour” to “Gritty Dawn Patrol.”
Fast forward to 5:45 am (yes, in the morning, not the evening), and guess what? The entire crew of 14 didn’t just show up—they arrived early! I’m talking about a whole squad of early risers who were as enthusiastic as caffeinated dolphins. Seriously, I’ve never seen a group so pumped to see the sunrise. It was like a flash mob of beachgoers, except instead of dancing, we were just posing and looking glamorous.
Miramar Beach in the early morning light was, well, let’s just say it was “epic.” The beach looked like it had its own Instagram filter—soft, golden, and totally ready for its close-up.
Just as we were wrapping up, I asked if there was anything else they wanted to do, thinking we might add a pose or two. That’s when Wanda casually mentioned, “Oh, , we brought mermaid tails.” Naturally, I was like, “Hold my coffee; we’re making magic!”
We dove into a whole new level of fun. Picture this: 4 precious girls in mermaid tails, flopping around the beach like a school of very fashionable fish. It was a sight to see! The combination of the sunrise glow and the mermaid antics made for some seriously unforgettable photos.
If you’re ever thinking of adding a little whimsy to your shoot, I’ve got mermaid tails galore. Just give me a heads-up, and we’ll make your mermaid dreams come true. Or you can bring your own like these cuties did!
Huge thanks to Wanda and her entire crew for being so adventurous and making this shoot so incredibly fun. Sunrise at Miramar Beach with mermaids? Nailed it!
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes craziness and fantastic photos!
xoxo,
Jamie
